System Explorer is a utility that can give you the details of all the tasks, processes, modules, Windows startup items, IE add-ons, system add-ons, services, drivers, opened files and installed programs in your operating system.
System Explorer has an advanced task manager that allows you to terminate any process in a single click and give you more detail of any particular task using "file info check" service. You can also check any suspicious task or process running in your system via VirusTotal and Jotti services that will warn you if the running process is harmful.
You can manage your IE add-ons, system add-ons, start up programs and system services in the Autorun tab. The inbuilt software uninstaller can remove any installed application in two clicks. Additionally, you can drag and drop any type of file to the bottom of System Explorer to get detailed information about that file. System Explorer can make a system report in a single click with all the information about processes, modules, add-ons and tasks running.
System Explorer also employs a disk defragmenting tool, a group policy management tool, a performance monitor and local security settings. So the best way to use System Explorer is probably to replace Windows Task Manager with it. Multilingual support and a very compact size make it a must-have system utility.
Free Extended Task Manager 1.0 provides additional process management features.
